Thank You Crushers Fans!

Well Crushers Fans the 2021 Frontier League season has come to a close. We want to congratulate the Schaumburg Boomers on winning the championship, but this Newsletter is really to say Thank You to all of our Fans.
To be honest we are not sure any of us knew what to expect last Spring when it came to Crushers baseball. After starting the season under seating restrictions, we were quickly permitted to sell the entire stadium for Crushers home games. And while attendance got off to a slow start, you all came back in force in July and August and supported the team as you have always done. We even had a few sell-outs!
We want to thank you for coming back to the ballpark. We want to thank you for your patience as we struggled to find staff to work this summer, particularly in the concession stands. But most of all we want to thank you for cheering on the Crushers when we were in First Place early in the year, all the way until we faltered in the season’s final weeks to miss the playoffs.
We want to thank our Manager Dan Rohn and Pitching Coach Greg Cadaret for a great year, and we wish them well in their retirement. We also want to thank Hitting Coach Ryan Powell and wish him the best as he moves on to bigger and better things in baseball.
And we can’t say enough good things about our Crushers host families who house, feed and take care of our ballplayers all season long…they’re the best!
So as we head into our off-season, we are already planning all sorts of new fun for 2022. The search is on for a new Manager and Coaching staff, but you can be sure the Crushers will be back and better than ever next Summer. We already miss you and can’t wait to see you at the ballpark next May.
Thanks again for supporting the Lake Erie Crushers
Sincerely,
Tom & Jacqueline Kramig
