Lake Erie Crushers Relief Pitcher Darrien Ragins has been added
to the 2023 Frontier League All-Star squad. Ragins will represent the Western Conference at the annual All-Star game, Wednesday July 12th in Crestwood, Illinois home of the Windy City Thunderbolts.
The Baltimore, Maryland native has appeared in 22 of the Crushers 51 games this season, posting a sparkling one-point-four-four Earned Run Average. Ragins has thrown 31 innings while allowing 18 hits, 14 walks and striking out 36 batters. He has four wins and only 1 loss and has earned two saves this season.
“It’s a great thrill for me to represent the Lake Erie Crushers at the 2023 All-Star game this season”, Ragins remarked. “I want to thank my teammates and coaches and the entire Crushers organization for the opportunity this season.”
The Crushers get back to work later this week at Mercy Health Stadium against the Ottawa Titans. Game times are 7:05 Friday the 14th, 6:05 Saturday the 15th and 2:05 Sunday 16th. For
