Crushers Manager Roth to Join Detroit Tigers Organization

Lake Erie Crushers Manager Cameron Roth is leaving the organization to assume a managerial position in the Detroit Tigers Minor League system. Roth, who was the 2019 Frontier League Manager of the Year, will join the Tigers organization immediately and the Crushers, who are presented by Mercy Health, have started a search for a new Manager.

“Cam Roth has done an outstanding job since joining the Crushers back in 2016”, stated Crushers Co-Owner Tom Kramig. “This is a great opportunity for Cam and we want to thank him, and wish him the very best of success going forward.”

Roth joined the Crushers midway through the 2016 season and has posted a 197 and 187 record during his three and a half seasons at the helm. The Crushers captured the 2019 Frontier League Eastern Division title, which was their first playoff appearance since Roth’s arrival.

“I have nothing but fond memories of my time in Lake Erie”, said Roth. “The fans, players and front office have been tremendous, and I see nothing but good things ahead for the Crushers organization.” Roth previously served as a coach in the Schaumburg Boomers organization. He was drafted and pitched in the Baltimore Orioles farm system prior to joining Schaumburg.
