Crushers Roth Will Not Return in 2023

( September 15, 2022: Avon, Ohio )     The Lake Erie Crushers announced today that they have mutually agreed with Director of Baseball Operations Cam Roth that he will not return to the team in 2023.  The search for a new Director / Field Manager will begin immediately.

“The Crushers want to thank Cam for all of his hard work to make the 2022 season exciting right until the final weekend”,stated Crushers Co-Owner Tom Kramig.  “We believe Cam is an outstanding Manager and we wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors”.

Roth re-joined the organization in 2022 after spending the 2021 season with the Gateway Grizzlies. Roth also managed the team from 2016 through 2019 before leaving to accept a position with the Detroit Tigers organization.

He piloted the team to the Eastern Division title in 2019 and was named Frontier League Manager of the Year that season. His tenure with the Tigers was cut short by COVID and he returned to the Frontier League in 2021.
