AVON, Ohio (October 23, 2024) — The Lake Erie Crushers announced its 2025 season schedule, featuring 48 action-packed home Frontier League games at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio from May through August.

The Crushers will kick off the season on the road on May 8 against the New York Boulders before returning to Crushers Stadium for the home opener on Tuesday, May 13, against the Florence Y’alls followed by a fireworks show to kick off the season.

The 2025 season promises to be an unforgettable summer of baseball, rivalries, and family fun, including the annual City of Avon’s Red, White, and Boom Fireworks spectacular following the July 3 game against the Joliet Slammers

Game times will be finalized and announced in the coming weeks.

Building on a Thrilling 2024 Season

Following a successful 2024 season where the Crushers advanced to the playoffs, including a dramatic road victory at Gateway and hosting their first playoff game since 2019, excitement is higher than ever.

“We are excited to build on the momentum of a tremendous 2024 season," President Vic Gregovits said. "Under the leadership of Manager Jared Lemieux, our team made an incredible playoff run that energized our fans and the community. With that success, we are eager to welcome fans back to Crushers Stadium in 2025 for more unforgettable moments.  We are already working on an exciting promotional calendar to ensure fun for all ages, from spectacular fireworks to our fan-favorite theme nights”

Exciting Matchups and New Frontier League Teams

The Crushers will renew their rivalry with the Washington Wild Things, who they battled in the 2024 Western Division Series. Lake Erie hosts Washington May 27-29 and again on August 2-3.

The Crushers and Pennsylvania-based Wild Things will battle 12 times during the season. A unique twist between the team clubs includes two home-and-home tilts where the Crushers visit Washington on June 25 and August 1, and then host the Wild Things the following nights on June 26 and August 2.

The Crushers and Kentucky-based Florence Y’alls will renew their border-state rivalry and face off 12 times in 2025, with six contests held at Crushers Stadium.

The 2025 season will also see the Crushers host two new Frontier League teams. The Mississippi Mud Monsters will visit Crushers Stadium for the first time from July 25-27, and the Down East Bird Dogs from North Carolina will make their Ohio debut on August 26-28.
