The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to be one of two Emcees for the 2020 baseball season. This person will be responsible for creating an entertaining and energetic atmosphere for the ballpark by interacting with fans and contestants throughout the game.

Kitchen Manager- The Kitchen Manager is in charge of overseeing the kitchen staff in 2 dedicated concession kitchens, 1 main and 1 secondary kitchen. The direct kitchen staff will consist of 6-8 line cooks and 2-3 dish staff. The kitchen will primarily serve all the fans (up to 4500) in the ballpark through the 2 concession outlets as well as 11 suites and 3 picnic plazas.
The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager who is in charge of overseeing the kitchen staff in one dedicated kitchen with up to 4 line cooks for the 2020 baseball season.
Assistant Kitchen Manager responsibilities include but not limited to- Reports directly to Kitchen Manager, Manages assigned staff in performance, and discipline, Effectively communicates to management to ensure effective and efficient operations without issue, Controls labor of their kitchen through the game and non-game days, Trains, develops and teaches staff, Build trust with staff and other Mangers, Oversees smooth operations of all aspects of the Kitchen, Assists in the implementation of all the system set forth for ideal cost controls through specific vendors, Makes sure all food is properly prepped and served in a timely and efficient manner, Ensures compliance with inventory, ordering, and costs, Maintains strong culture among all staff, Maintains food quality standards and oversees all stages of food procurement, production, and service including storage, rotation, and food preparation, Conducts daily line checks and makes sure everything is stocked, ready and in its right place prior to opening gates, Completes prep list each day to ensure successful operations, and Meets with Food and Beverage Director daily to ensure a clear line of communication and needs for day to day operations.
The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for a professional line cook for the 2020 baseball season to prepare food to the exact specifications and to set up stations in the concessions. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and will prepare meals for the entire ballpark, including 3 picnic areas and 11 suites. responsible for preparing concessions menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment
Line Cook Responsibilities include but not limited to- Reports directly to kitchen Manager, Must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction, Portion control and adherence to menu specs are essential in eliminating food waste, Receive verbal orders from counter staff and quickly prepare items through hot windows, Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items, Operation of large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fat fryers, and ovens, Maintain sanitation and health standards in work areas, demonstrate the ability to meet company standards in any situation, Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guest in a clear, respectful and business-like manner, Read and write English, Work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment, possess valid food handling certificate if required, Organize and setup station prior to shift and the breakdown and clean work area after game, and May be asked to wash dishes and assist in the dish room.
This is a seasonal part-time position lasting from Beginning of May to mid to late September, with workweeks averaging near 40 hours during home stands
The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for a dishwasher for the 2020 baseball season who’s primary objective is to provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff by washing and cleaning, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. As well as keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
Dishwasher Responsibilities include but not limited to- Reports directly to Kitchen Manager, Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware, Load, run and unload dish machine, Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to the kitchen manager immediately, Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle, Wash and store all kitchenware, Keep dish room clean and organized, Complete opening and closing checklists, Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen, Bag and haul kitchen trash to the dumpster, Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies, Clean food preparation and production areas if necessary, May assist in the prep of kitchen menu items, and May assist in the setup and breakdown of picnic areas as well.

Their responsibilities include but not limited to- Reports to Food and Beverage Director, Looking for super friendly and hospitable team members to greet and assist fans in taking orders, Have responsible cash handling duties, in counting drawer, ringing items, redeeming payments (cash, credit, coupon, and vouchers), and balancing drawer at shift close, Must be proficient in all menu offerings, Managers will be teaching and training all cashiers and assistants in food preparation, menu knowledge, and draft pouring, Managers will be in charge of holding cashiers, assistants and cooks responsible for performing daily tasks in their various outlets during the game times, and must be 19 years or older.
