Ticketing Account Executive

Summary:
The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for a high-energy, dedicated Ticket Sales Account Executive to help grow our organization.  Our Ticket Sales Account Executives are responsible for assessing client needs and selling the appropriate ticket packages based on their assessments on a year-round basis. Ticket sales include season tickets, group tickets, suites, picnic packages, mini-season ticket packages, fundraisers, individual games and the development of other ticket sales programs. The Account Executive will report to the Director of Ticket Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales to individuals and businesses of season tickets and groups, including renewals as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of all team ticket sales efforts including planning and marketing in order to reach team goals
  • Execution of ticket packages including contracts, invoices, ticket production and distribution of tickets
  • Identifying, investigating, and executing strategic partnerships in the area of ticketing

Required Experience:

  • The Account Executive should have previous ticketing experience
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors, advertisers, and customers
  • Cold-calling and telephone sales techniques

Promotions and Community Affairs Manager

The Lake Erie Crushers are accepting applications for an experienced, high-energy Promotions and Community Affairs Manager.

The Promotions and Community Affairs Manager is responsible for: planning and executing the promotional calendar for all 48 home games, heightening the fan experience through high-quality entertainment and working with the sales staff to activate sold game elements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work in all aspects of professional baseball to gain an understanding of the business
  • Promote the Crushers and its various events and promotions in the community through the distribution of marketing materials and pocket schedules
  • Manage appearance schedule for front office staff, players/coaches and mascot
  • Assist in the advertising and execution of Crushers programs: Reading Club and any others that may arise
  • Write game day scripts to ensure accurate implementation of all promotions, sales, and sponsorship commitments for all games
  • Support the creation and development of in-game elements including on-field promotions, fan interactive elements, mascot skits, music, etc.
  • Develop, prepare for and participate in various theme nights
  • Work with Corporate Sales department to develop possible sponsorship opportunities
  • Supervise promotions interns
  • Assist in any other duties put forth by Crushers full-time staff
  • Hire and supervise Press Box Staff including but not limited to:
  • PA Announcer
  • Music Director
  • Official Scorer
  • On-Field Emcee
  • Scoreboard Operator
  • Mascot

Qualifications:

  • Creative, energetic and proactive mentality with an event mindset
  • Enthusiasm for creating and directing elements of game entertainment
  • Highly organized, quick learner and ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and work well with different personalities
  • Ability to learn and master new software programs as necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with fans
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
