Former Indians Star Coco Crisp to Suit Up for the Crushers and be a Bobblehead

The Lake Erie Crushers, presented by Mercy Health, have signed former Indians star Outfielder Coco Crisp to a one-game contract for Saturday, August 3rd.  Crisp, who spent 15 years in the major leagues, 5 of them with the Indians, will suit up for the Crushers in Avon for one game the first Saturday in August.

“It’s an honor to have Coco Crisp play for the Crushers this summer, similar to what we did with Travis Hafner in 2018”, stated Crushers Co-Owner Tom Kramig. “We think the fans will really enjoying seeing Coco again, and it should be a great night out at Sprenger Stadium”.

In addition to playing in the game, which is presented by McGowan PAE, Crisp will also be available to sign post-game autographs and take photos for fans on the concourse.  To help promote the game, the Crushers will be holding a Coco Crisp bobblehead night on Saturday, June 22nd.  The first one-thousand fans through the gates will receive a Coco Crisp bobblehead. Tickets for the Coco Crisp game will go on sale Wednesday, March 20th.

Coco Crisp played 15 years in the Major leagues, posting a career batting average of .265. He played for four teams, The Cleveland Indians, the Oakland A’s, the Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Royals, totaling more than fifteen-hundred games, and more than six-thousand plate appearances.
