Baseball is back in Avon

The Lake Erie Crushers unveiled the 2021 Frontier League schedule today, featuring 48 home games at Mercy Health Stadium, including 8 weekends.

The Crushers will open the season at home, Thursday May 27th as part of a big Memorial Day weekend, 5-game homestand.

“We are thrilled to be getting back on the field this summer”, stated Crushers Co-Owner Tom Kramig. “It’s been 20 months since the Crushers have played a game, and we’re excited to see the fans back in the ballpark.”

The Crushers will host games Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend and Labor Day weekend as part of their 2021 season. Fans can look forward to great promotional nights such as Military Appreciation Night, Christmas in July and of course Pack the Park Pink.

Increased safety protocols will also be part of the 2021 Crushers fan experience. All fans and Staff will be required to wear masks and stadium capacity may be limited during the early part of the season. The Crushers are working with the Lorain County Health Department to ensure all fans are safe at the ballpark this summer.
